SL Series Automatic Capsule/Tablet Counting Machine
Working Principle
The tablets in the hopper are driven forward by the vibration feeder through the adjusting valve at the outlet of the lower part of the silo. They fall one by one into the photoelectric counting channel. When the tablets pass through the grating holes in the channel, the counting photoelectric sensor generates a pulse signal, which adds 1 to the counter. This signal, grouped into left and right channels, is accumulated and sent to the PLC for data processing until the set number of tablets per bottle is met, at which point the cylinder gate of each counting channel is closed.
At this moment, the container to be filled is already positioned. When the funnel sleeve cylinder covers the container, the funnel cylinder gate opens, and the tablets are accurately filled into the container. After the tablets fall, the channel begins counting again, and the positioning cylinder releases the railing, allowing the filled container to be conveyed to the next process by the conveyor belt.
Subsequently, an empty container is positioned under the funnel, and the counting and filling operations cycle repeatedly.

● The human-machine interaction system of the counting machine is user-friendly, significantly reducing the learning curve for customers. Different parameter adjustments can be saved in real-time and never lost.
● The conveyor belt is equipped with photoelectric sensors to detect bottle shortage or blockage. If a bottle blockage occurs, the machine will automatically stop; if bottle shortage is detected, the machine will automatically start bottling.
● The vibration system uses the principle of electromagnetic vibration, producing low noise and better separation of the tablets, preventing stacking and ensuring counting accuracy.
● The electronic counting machine has a rejection function, detecting single anomalies and rejecting the entire bottle, preventing defective products from entering the market.
● Equipped with an emergency stop function, the machine can be stopped immediately in case of an accident, ensuring the safety of the operator.
● The machine body is made of 304 stainless steel, and the parts in contact with the material are made of 316 stainless steel, meeting GMP requirements.
